Nu befinner Ole och jag oss i Cabarete, helt nord i Dom. Republiken. Här tar vi tag i surfingen igen efter två månaders paus. Igår var första dagen, och med ny strand, nya vågor och utan instruktör, gick det såklart lite trögt. Men jag har stora förhoppningar om idag och längtar efter att försöka igen. Learning by doing. Det svåraste är inte att ställa sig upp, utan att läsa vågorna och synkronisera starten med vågen. 
Mellan Jarabacoa och Cabarete var vi i Santiago och hälsade på våra vänner, spelade massa domino och dansade marenga.
